Nolan Doesken is the State Climatologist for Colorado at the Department of Atmospheric Science at Colorado State University. He first came to CSU in 1977 as Assistant State Climatologist under Dr. Thomas McKee. Nolan is now the President Elect of the American Association of State Climatologists and will assume the role of president in July 2008. Nolan has more than 30 years experience with climate information applications, outreach and service and is the founder of the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow network (CoCoRaHS).
