Marc Levinson is industry economist at JPMorgan Chase, where he works on a wide range of microeconomic and regulatory topics of concern to investors in publicly traded stocks and bonds. He has written extensively on the investment implications of climate change, water scarcity, and other environmental issues. Prior to joining the company in 1999, he was finance and economics editor of The Economist. His most recent book is The Box: How the Shipping Container Made the World Smaller and the World Economy Bigger (Princeton University Press 2006).
