Sarachik, Ed

Ed Sarachik is Emeritus Professor of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington. He is a past member of this Climate Working Group and has participated in many National Research Council activities directly relevant to the formation of a National Climate Service. Sarachik is a Fellow of the American Meteorological Society, the American Geophysical Union, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He was recently awarded .00016 part of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for the IPCC Assessments. He co-Directs, with Ed Miles, the Center for Science in the Earth System at the University of Washington.
