Solomon, Allen

Allen M. Solomon is a plant ecologist and paleoecologist, focussed on the terrestrial ecology of the global carbon cycle for the past 30 years, primarily through local to global vegetation models. He has a B.A. in Biology from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, and a Ph.D. in Botany from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. He is currently the National Program Leader for Global Change Research in the U.S. Forest Service.
