I. Introduction
The following document is an attempt to summarize, at an early time, the activities and events of the MAP field phase. All indications are that the results of the program will be highly satisfactory, because 1) the atmosphere cooperated nicely, 2) the observing systems, especially the flexible ones, were deployed smartly under conditions of competing scientific demands.
