ACCOMMODATIONS AND RESERVATIONS
The block of rooms at the Nautilus Motor Inn in Woods Hole is full.
The other block of rooms being held for our group for the nights of 19-22 August at the Admiralty Inn in Falmouth still has space available. The government room rate for August is $121.50 + 9.7% tax = $133.29.
All reservations are being made through Brian Jackson at UCAR-JOSS, bjackson_at_ucar.edu, 303-497-8663. Please contact him with any questions or modifications.
UCAR-supported attendees - See TRAVEL below. Your room and tax charges will be direct-billed to UCAR, but you are responsible for all incidental expenses.

The CONUS M&IE rate for Woods Hole (Barnstable County) currently is $59.00.
TRANSPORTATION
The Peter Pan Bus Lines offers roundtrip transportation between Boston's Logan Airport and
Falmouth/Woods Hole as well as between Providence's T.F. Green Airport and /FalmouthWoods Hole, on their Bonanza Bus Line (1-888-751-8800).
It is also possible to catch a bus to Woods Hole/Falmouth from the Kennedy Plaza Bus Terminal in downtown Providence, located 3 blocks from the Amtrak station. Additional schedules may be found here.

FARES:
It is more convenient and cheaper to purchase your tickets online; discounted fares may be offered on certain city combinations.

Mail delivery of your tickets will take approximately 5-7 business days.
PLEASE NOTE: A ticket does NOT represent a seat reservation on a given bus. All seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
WORKING LUNCHES (NEW - 8/7/08)
Please note that a working lunch will be provided both days, 21-22 August. It is assumed that all meeting participants will attend.
UCAR-supported attendees - $16.00 for each lunch will be deducted from the travel expense reimbursement claims of those attendees receiving travel support from UCAR.
GROUP DINNERS (NEW - 8/7/08)
There will be a Group Dinner on the evenings of 21-22 August. It is assumed that all meeting participants will attend.
Both dinner menus include vegetarian options.
If you do not plan to attend the group lunches or dinners and have not informed Tom Peterson or Brian Jackson, please do so now.
UCAR-supported attendees - $29.00 for each dinner will be deducted from the travel expense reimbursement claims of those attendees receiving travel support from UCAR.
PAYMENT (NEW - 8/7/08)
It is now possible for federal attendees to pay for their meals via the Internet. Please note that UCAR accepts Visa and MasterCard only.
Federal attendees may combine the lunches and the group dinner into one payment:

Two PC laptops and an Apple Powerbook will be used for all presentation projections.

UCAR-supported attendees - Travel arrangements for non-federal attendees will be handled by Brian Jackson through UCAR. Travel support includes round-trip airfare, lodging, per diem, misc. ground transportation and airport parking.
